You will have discovered that this is a busy church!
Many of us who feel the burdens and pressures of a busy life have found that taking time out in a Quiet Day or a Quiet Morning is a real blessing, a time of restoration and refreshment and we come in response to Jesus’ invitation to the weary, to seek rest. Matthew 11:28
Each occasion has a simple structure for people to follow if they wish, but the most important thing is that we simply give back to God what he has already generously given us – moments of time – and let him take the lead.
Quiet Days and Mornings are held two or three times a year.
Quiet Mornings - the next Quiet Mornings are planned for the first Saturday of the month in September, December and in March 2022. They will be held at Trinity.
Dig Deep - this small group meets at Le Monnaie Chapel Fellowship Room on the first Saturday of each month from 9.30 - 12.00. (Except August and January.) DigDeep's general format closely mirrors our Quiet Mornings but is perhaps less 'formal', with the opportunity to chew over topics together before enjoying a time of silent reflection. The Monnaie meeting room is in a very sheltered part of St Andrew's Parish and, if you've not already been there, is well worth a visit.
All our Quiet events are advertised on our weekly notice sheet, but if you would like more information please contact Eileen Davis.
