Pronounced “hoo-gah”, Hygge is ‘a quality of cosiness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being (regarded as a defining characteristic of Danish culture).’
We gather to meet every Tuesday here at the church building from 2pm - 3.30pm. Join us downstairs in room 1. Stay as long as you would like.
Open to all, Hyyge is a place for anyone to come along and take a break from the busyness and escape from the ‘noise’ of everyday life.
There are games, puzzles, craft, a pool table and more. But if you just fancy some space, there’s also a quiet room where you can just sit and rest.

Take a break from busy
Come and socialise with a cup of tea or coffee. Enjoy jigsaw puzzles, games, craft and play pool, but it is fine just to sit and chat. There is also a quiet room, which is always open for anyone to use, to take time out for a moment of silence, prayer and reflection or just to get away from the chatter. At the end we join together to pray (but there is no need to join in if you would prefer not to).
